As newly minted owners of the shop, we are eager to help Press Coffee grow by relocating the business just ten minutes away at 1120 North Dodge Street in Iowa City. Thrilled and overwhelmed by the prospect of this transition, we can’t wait to share our vision for the future with you all!

For the past seven years Press Coffee has sat tucked away in the corner of Oakdale and 1st Ave in Coralville, serving coffee to the nearby neighborhoods, teachers, students, and professionals. Opened under the ownership of Chad, Ryan, Sam, and Swen, we have gained a strong following of guests built on our rich, french-pressed coffee. We have loved and appreciated these years in our current home, but in order to grow and thrive, we believe that this new location will help us reach our full potential.

The first phase of this move started with gaining ownership of the business and will end with closing our doors at 2201 Grantview Dr. right before Thanksgiving on November 20th. We will then start phase two which is building out our new space on North Dodge. Unfortunately, this means that Press Coffee will be closed for a number of months, but when we reopen in the Spring we anticipate that the end result will be worth the wait.
