As of Wednesday, March 18th, we won’t be allowing any guests inside the shop and will be taking mobile and call in orders only. Please download and use the Jump coffee ordering app which allows you to order and pre-pay. If that isn’t an option for you, you can also call us at (319) 887-1500 to place an order but you will need to pre-pay over the phone. A table is set up in the vestibule where orders will be set out for pick up. Again, the shop itself will be closed and we will not be admitting any guests inside the cafe.
We will be taking orders from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday through Wednesday and until Noon Thursday and Friday. Please keep an eye on our social media as things keep evolving throughout each day.

March 16th Update:
Hello Press Coffee Community. We will be taking each day as it comes and suggest that you continue checking our social media pages and website to see how we will be altering our business in the midst of this Coronavirus outbreak. We appreciate everyone who has stopped in over the last few days to support us and spread some cheer, but also understand if you’ve been staying away.
Some possible next steps for us may be closing early, changing over to app and phone orders only, or even shutting down for a few weeks like other businesses in the area have started to do. We recommend downloading the Jump Coffee ordering app, adding money to your house account, or stocking up on beans to make coffee at home.
We hope you are all adapting well to the changing landscape of our community and can’t wait to see you again when things get back to normal.
March 13th:
With Coronavirus (COVID-19) reaching pandemic levels, we will be making some changes to the way we normally operate to help keep our staff, our guests and the larger community safe and healthy. Some of these changes will be commonplace practices that follow suit with other businesses in the area, but more changes may come as we continue to adapt to the social ramifications of the virus. We appreciate your kindness and patience as we all figure this out together.
As part of the foodservice industry, we will build upon our already high standards for health and cleanliness with extra washing/sanitizing of our tablets, surfaces, and commonly handled items in the shop. We will no longer accept personal travel mugs and will be serving all food and drinks to-go in single-use packaging. This week we began partnering with a new app called Jump! that allows guests to skip the line by pre-ordering and paying for their items without entering the store, making it even easier to get your coffee while maintaining some social distancing. If the app isn’t for you, we always welcome call-in orders as well. (319-887-1500)
We recently pulled out the patio furniture if you want to get out of the house and enjoy the Spring weather. If you feel more comfortable staying at home, we encourage you to stock up on your favorite Press Coffee beans with $1 off half and full pound bags of coffee. Purchase a French press from our shelf and we can make sure you go home with all the knowledge you need to make a fresh cup yourself.
For now, we are maintaining our 4 p.m. closing time (a recent change) but may need to alter our hours of operations in the future.
